So here’s my journey of using CleanCoconut’s several products. I will be reviewing them gradually.

Today I’ll review Grapeseed Oil and Virgin Organic Coconut Oil in this post.
Virgin Coconut Oil
Coconut oil comes from the fruit of the coconut palm. Virgin coconut oil is extracted from the meat of a fresh coconut. It is known for its nice fragrance, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, and medium chain fatty acids (MCFA), among other things. It has a very specific chemical composition having miraculous health benefits but here we will focus on few of the benefits we have from using it externally.

Products came in an envelope corrugated fiberboard cardboard box. All my products were beautifully wrapped inside a green gift paper wrap which was further filled with cute crinkle cut crimped paper shred to give cushion to glass bottles and plastic boxes.
The coconut oil came in a sturdy dark amber brown color plastic box. You also get additional clear flap cover to replace with the original black lid to see your contents. These boxes are recyclable and can easily be used to store cosmetics, creams and other beauty products (DIYs). Or can be used for storing craft or office supplies etc.
Ingredients:
100% Cold Pressed Virgin Organic Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)
Directions for use: 
Apply generously to skin, apply small amount to towel-dried hair, and massage in thoroughly. Rinse as needed.
Not for ingestion or cooking, for external use only. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
Tips & Tricks

- Moisturizer
Apply a small amount and rub in a circular motion on skin and allow oil to absorb.
- Under Eye & Face Treatment
In the evening, apply oil in a light circular motion around the eyes and face.
- Hair & Scalp Treatment
Conditioner
Use a small dime to quarter size dollop, apply to hair and scalp. Leave in for 10-20 minutes shampoo as normal.
For Split Ends/Frizz
Apply a tiny amount between fingertips and rub on the frizzy hairs or split ends.
Add a small amount to your nails to nourish cuticles while preventing peeling and cracking
TIP 1: Prevents and minimizes skin cracking on heels
TIP 2: Leave-In Conditioner: this oil can be left in overnight and should not stain your pillow. Shampoo as normal in the morning.
My Review:
I’ve been using Virgin Coconut Oil as a facial and body moisturizer as long as I can remember. I have used various brands over a period of time. CleanCoconut has proven to be of consistent quality, so I decided to give it a try. It’s about a month now and it didn’t even take that long for me to see positive results. It’s cruelty-free and makes me look beautiful. All thanks to the medium-chain fatty acids that protect and heal the skin at the same time.
I noticed my skin looks smoother and radiant! It also acts as a natural moisturizing cleanser so I use it to clean off my makeup and dirt at the end of the day. In the morning my face feels feather soft and hydrated. I have also started mixing a drop or two with my day cream, and sunscreen and my skin looks amazing! My husband was resistant to the idea as his skin is more towards oily unlike mine which is dry-normal, but I used it on him and he was impressed with how well it worked out on his skin and saved him from sunburns.
I would also like to share my story of developing bumpy skin around my arms during last winter. It somewhat looked like red rashes and visually doesn’t make you look flattering in sleeveless outfits. I tried a couple of things but nothing seemed to work out, until CleanCoconut – Virgin Organic Coconut Oil. I know it sounds like an advertisement but I can’t help. My skin condition is 100% improved and also noticed a brighter-looking skin. There is a huge quality difference between store bought and from CleanCoconut. The quality encouraged me to use it in various other ways. I have been using the oil as a body cream post shower and as massage oil occasionally. As far as my hair is concerned they look healthier. Added bonus – my eyelashes have grown longer and thicker!
I also did a little experiment by adding the Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil with water in Neti Pot to do sinus rinse. It worked pretty good on me. I’m so glad to have a “drug-free” solution to it.

Although when you buy the huge supermarket size it can go rancid and when you keep putting your hands in the jar over time you are contaminating the product which might affect your well being. And once the jars go rancid you have to toss it bearing wastage.
- Costlier in comparison to the local market but the quality justifies the price. It’s a high performing, result oriented product.

Grapeseed Oil
Grapeseed oil is extracted from the seeds of grapes, typically made as a by-product of wine-making industry. Grapeseed oil is primarily used for: cosmetics and culinary applications. This oil is not only extremely beneficial for inside consumption, but no less for external skin and hair applications. Always make sure that the oil is marked as food grade before consuming as few grapeseed oils are stabilized with chemicals for its cosmetic uses.

Best part is where Wendy leaves you a small note giving you some useful tips and advice on how to use the product. You will also find information cards on the products to figure out its benefits. This personal touch made all the difference for me.
The Grapeseed Oil came in a classical 4 oz amber glass boston round bottle with glass droppers. I really appreciate the packaging as it’s a safe, secure and convenient and can be recycled. The amber color provides UV protection for light-sensitive products making it perfect to store oils, essential oils, perfume oils and other liquids. It’s quite the choice for travel as it conveniently fits in your purse.

My Review:
I was on a trip a month and half back and as a souvenir I brought back acne. Using grapeseed oil has helped me lighten those acne spots in a month’s time which is super cool. It also helped me control them there itself, much like the brand claims. My skin feels better hydrated and has improved my skin tone a notch up.
You know I love curls and have chemically got perms done. So my hair acts up frizzy and dry at times. However, with the use of Grapeseed oil it doesn’t get frizzy after a day’s wash. Hair texture is better now for sure as far as I can tell.
These days I’m integrating the oil into moisturizers, creams, sunscreen, lotions, lip balms, shampoo, conditioners and an assortment of other products. I love it’s light, sweet balsamic aroma. There’s absolutely no dearth to its uses and application. Grapeseed oil is an excellent base for homemade cosmetology remedies indeed. I love CleanCoconut Grapeseed oil.
